These items are laser engraved and markings are 100% permanent. The engraving is burned into the leather.
These are Iron-On patches, which can be used with a heat press (recommended) or a home iron (not recommended)
Instructions to apply--
Please keep in mind that these instructions are only intended as a starting point. Many cheaper heat presses may heat unevenly or not actually heat fully to the temperature reading on the screen. As a result, please use the below directions as a starting point, but expect some trial and error to start. Once you find what works for your specific press, you are set and don't have to be concerned with it again.
Peel paper off of back side.
Cover patch with 1/16" silicone sheet or something similar (Not 100% necessary but recommended)
Dual platen settings:
For most materials, the suggested setting will be 280*F on the top platen and 320*F on bottom platen for 45 seconds with medium pressure. For regular leatherette, 40 seconds will be a preferred starting point.
Single platen settings:
We suggest starting at 300*F for 40-50 seconds with most materials, including leather that is 4oz or less of thickness. Some customers prefer pre-pressing the hat to warm it up with the top platen or pressing for additional time.

Send your logo or custom needs to us via Etsy message, or to abmiller5073@gmail.com. We except PNG, AI, SVG, JPEG, and most other standard image format.
3) If you do not have a logo, you can select a font and have your own personalized text engraved instead.
***Please see below for all information regarding file types/logo requirements.**
Do not use images with shading/gradients. Items that are dark shaded and overlapping will not work well for engraving.
I WILL accept color logos providing they are not shaded or do not have gradients.

.AI, .PNG, .PDF, High Quality JPG, .SVG are acceptable. We are not restrictive with file type requirements. We work with nearly all types of files.
Zoom in on your logo, if it appears blurry and pixelated, please try to find a higher quality image.
**Reminders**
It never hurts to send the logo beforehand and ask. We are happy to help!
